It's a fascinating time as it is the start of a new chapter and a new year! This is the time for internal reflection and manifestation.
There are different ways of transferring thoughts. Some people use journaling, painting, or vision boards. Traveling is another great way to clear your head, make peace with a busy mind, and organize your thoughts.
This week's focus is on self-care and regeneration through wellness travel. Over the years wellness travel has taken off and truly expanded. There are so many different types of wellness travels
Yoga Retreats - From overseas to domestic retreats, yogis everywhere embrace their spirituality and mind-body connection. These retreats can be short or last up to 30+ days. This also can be extended to Yoga Training to become a certified Yoga or Pilates instructor.
Nutrition-focused retreats- These retreats focus on the importance of nourishing our bodies with healthy food, encouraging healthy lifestyle change, cooking classes, and some offer activities to incorporate physical activity like Yoga and hiking. For the mind connection spa services and meditation are typically offered as well.
Cruises- Cruising in itself can be very relaxing and therapeutic. A lot of the popular cruise lines offer spa services and have a state-of-the-art gym. Depending on the cruise line classes can also be offered at an additional cost. (Crystal Cruises, Virgin Voyages, Regent Seven Sea & Oceania Cruises are great options if you want to cruise with a focus on wellness and/or nutrition)
Additionally, there are wellness retreats that focus on detoxing or creating customized programs that are tailored to their clients' medical needs. Some people choose these options post-op or use them to follow doctor's orders to destress.
